Congregation Shaaray Shalom, an inclusive and progressive Conservative synagogue, provides the atmosphere in which our congregants can enhance their spiritual, educational, and social connection to Judaism, by enabling men and women to participate equally in our synagogue services.
We accomplish this by actively involving our membership in our weekday, Shabbat, and Yom Tov services. Our use of electronic media such as Zoom and other technologies, for our synagogue services, as well as for programming and for meetings, allows our in-building and remote congregants to worship and participate as a cohesive and close-knit group.
Our religious, educational, and social programs enable our members to enrich their connections to the synagogue, to friends and family, and to the greater Jewish community. These support Shaaray Shalom’s desire to apply the values and essential ideas of Torah as they are most meaningful to our membership, thus creating our Kehilat Kedoshah, our sacred Shaaray Shalom community.
